UKF’s candidate @ the polls…

No, we are not affiliated with any political party or candidate; this header was merely to get your attention. J However, just as you will like to elect a leader that will keep his/her promise to Nigerians this weekend, we urge you to keep your promise to the needy kids by sending us your Q2-2007 donations. Please support our mission to heal Nigeria and indeed the World, one child at a time.
Please visit http://www.unitedforkidsfoundation.org/support.htm to choose the best medium to send us your donations.

We will also like to remind you of our upcoming activities this quarter, we sincerely hope you will make time to join at least one of these events, details are as follows:
  • Q2-2007 monthly visits to the Ikeja General Hospital - Saturday April 28 (tentative), May 19 and June 16, 2007 at 9am
  • Q2-2007 visit to the Bab Es Salaam Orphanage (14/16 Joel Ogunnaike Street, GRA Ikeja) - Sunday May 20, 2007 at 2pm
  • Q2-2007 visit to the Children's Transit Home at Idi-Araba - Saturday May 26, 2007 at 2pm
  • Q2-2007 visit to the Hearts of Gold Children's Hospice in Surulere - Sunday May 27, 2007 at 2pm.
Please note that our visit to the Ikeja GH on April 28th is contingent on election activities.

Every time you see the amount of evil ravaging the world through conflicts, wars and massacres like the Virginia Tech tragedy, please remember that only little gestures such as these UKF activities and the grace of God can keep us safe and sane.

Thanks and God bless you all

Hello everyone,

On behalf of the kids we 'work for', I will like to thank you all for your overwhelming generousity during the first three months of 2007. We have raised over N800,000 which represents >40% of what we raised all through 2006. This is yet another indication that this is going to be a blessed year for us.
Our major expenditure in Q1-2007 include N300,000 spent on monthly visits to the Ikeja General Hospital (groceries and supplies for patients), over N140,000 for Eid party for the Bab Es Salam kids and N70,000 for payment of staff salaries at the Hearts of Gold Hospice.
