United for Kids Foundation - Ist Quarter 2008 financial results

Dear Friends,

Thanks to God and the consistent and generous donors (listed & anonymous), we have been able to raise ~50% of our 2007 revenues within a short period, this is a positive sign of better things to come by God's grace.

By the time you review our financial results for Q1-2008 (coming your way shortly), you will notice that we have received a significant amount of donations, but spent very little year to date. The reason for this strategy can be seen in the link to our kodak gallery below:

One of our main goals for the first half of 2008 is to help build a protective fence around this school compound (Wesley/Wright Primary School in Lagos). This project is yet to kick off because we have not raised sufficient funds to cover the asking price of the contractors (~ two million Naira/~$17,000), but we are getting close. so need your help.
